Paul J. Bolland Architect and The Bolland Studio are two interlinked businesses headed by Paul Bolland. Principal architect and sculptor Paul Bolland is trained through the University of Toronto and the Ontario College of Art and Design. His work incorporates both secular and spiritual themes. In each, his understanding of traditional heritage and symbols uniquely impacts his work as it integrates into contemporary culture. His work has the arresting quality of something at once excitingly new while remaining deeply rooted in the timelessness of the human condition.
The office and studio are located near Selkirk, on the shores of Lake Erie in south-western Ontario. Together they are a comprehensive design centre and studio offering services in:
- architecture (new construction, renovations and additions)
- interior design
- liturgical design consultation
- sacred space architectural programming
- liturgical design education
- liturgical furnishings design.
- lighting plan design
- commissioned artwork ( principally sculpture and stained glass)
In recent years the art portfolio has extended to include secular commissions and exhibitions. The office and studio have received wide acclaim for commissions and exhibitions, completed both locally and internationally.
